Automotive Grade Urea used to manufacture AdBlue is produced from natural gas. The current conflict with Ukraine/Russia and subsequent sanctions imposed, have caused the price of natural gas to soar and has again reached a record high.European Urea manufacturers have already started to take the decision to implement either plant shutdowns or reduce production because the cost of production is too high. This in turn has led to the cost of urea and therefore AdBlue once again rising in price.

New product information – MultiPump AdBlue®™ Pump for Drum

We’re always on the look out for new and innovative products that we can add to our range of AdBlue® pumps and accessories and this new MultiPump AdBlue® Pump for 210 litre drums offers up a smart solution to dispensing AdBlue® in virtually any environment.

Ok, so hand pumps are fine, but eventually most of our customers find that purchasing an electric pump is a more convenient (and less energetic) way of getting the AdBlue® out of the drum and into the vehicle (or container).

The MultiPump AdBlue®™ Pump has a standard 2” 56×4 Trisure thread which is compatible with our 210 litre AdBlue® drums, a 2 metre delivery hose and a standard manual nozzle. The unit also has a smart nozzle holder to keep the nozzle safe when not in use.

The key difference with this pump is that thanks to a clever transformer it is possible to run the AdBlue® pump on either a 12v battery or via mains power.

This flexibility allows you to, if necessary take the pump out on site or keep the drum safely attached to a power unit back at your premises.
