G is for Green
The population of our planet is expected to reach 11.2 billion in the year 2100. We’re using more and more natural resources and the environmental damage done by emissions.
But there’s light at the end of the tunnel, in December 2015 almost 200 countries took part in negotiations to strike the first climate deal to cut global emissions. The deal which will come into effect in 2020 is designed to overturn the current upward trend of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, which many people believe is responsible for the increase in sea water levels (over 8 inches in 50 years after no change in the previous 2000) not too mention a range of other negative natural and human health consequences.
So how does that equate to WavianBlue? Euro6 regulations came into force in September 2015 that require all new diesels vehicles to be fitted with an SCR system that uses AdBlue to reduce CO2 exhaust emissions.
By using AdBlue in a SCR (selective catalytic reductions) system a vehicle with a figure of 180mg/km can see that reduced to as little as 80mg/km.
Our Adblue is manufactured to the highest ISO22241 specifications (you can download the Data sheet here).
We also sell a wide range of AdBlue pumps (both manual and electric) to use with large containers of AdBlue liquid. Our most popular item is a 1000Litre IBC, but many of our new customers purchase an AdBlue ‘starter kit’ which includes a 1000Litre IBC of AdBlue and a Premium Gravity Hose Kit.
