Automotive Grade Urea used to manufacture AdBlue is produced from natural gas. The current conflict with Ukraine/Russia and subsequent sanctions imposed, have caused the price of natural gas to soar and has again reached a record high.European Urea manufacturers have already started to take the decision to implement either plant shutdowns or reduce production because the cost of production is too high. This in turn has led to the cost of urea and therefore AdBlue once again rising in price.

News update Fri 19th June

We’ve been flat out over the last few weeks, but I thought it might be a good idea to post a quick update on all our news. In terms of AdBlue® delivery times, everything is ticking along nicely as normal despite the challenging situation. Many thanks to our team for all their hard work!

Currently all our office staff are working remotely and all our service providers are working to strict social distancing guidelines. That includes everyone from our dispatch team to our delivery drivers. You can be assured that any AdBlue® deliveries will be done safely and quickly.

Stock wise we have finally managed to get our 10 Litre (empty) AdBlue® containers back in stock. We had a few issues with them arriving so if you are

looking for some it might be a good idea to stock up now. These cans are especially useful if you have an AdBlue® IBC at your base, but also have number of drivers out and about who need AdBlue® on a regular basis.

They are ideal to keep in the cab or boot of a vehicle and the integral spout fits into the side of the can so it’s much less likely to get lost. Incidentally these containers can be used for lots of different things and many people also use them in the catering trade.

For more information on our 10 Litre AdBlue® Containers, or any of our AdBlue® related products please feel free to email us or call 01508 493 647.
